A re-birthing of a downtown art gallery renamed ARTS OF DAYCHOLAH GALLERY at 526 Mill Street in Green Lake, Wisconsin - opens its doors June 1 by showcasing a renowned Swedish Artist. BJÖRN SJÖGREN now lives in Elroy, WI and will be the featured artist for the month of June. He has exhibited in New York, Chicago and Sante Fe.

"In the National known Art Community of OvationTV, a new blogspot, Bjorn Sjogren was awarded "Most Exiting New Artist in the Month of November". There were 13 artists out of 350 from all over the Nation who in no order was awarded Most Exiting New Artist of November".

We have been collecting art for our personal enjoyment for several decades. A couple of years ago we discovered the work of Björn Sjögren in a small but excellent restaurant in the hills of SW Wisconsin. Since then we have purchased both original paintings and limited editions of his work. Although there are many facets to appreciate, it is his strong sense of color and design that we appreciate the most. A Scandinavian perspective is clearly translated into his art, while the titles evoke more universal ideas and hint at larger meanings. We enjoy these beautiful paintings and know that others will too.
