A couple of years ago we discovered the work of Björn Sjögren in a small but excellent restaurant in the hills of SW Wisconsin. Since then we have purchased both original paintings and limited editions of his work. Although there are many facets to appreciate, it is his strong sense of color and design that we appreciate the most. A Scandinavian perspective is clearly translated into his art, while the titles evoke more universal ideas and hint at larger meanings.
